5th Annual Chili Cook Off

On Friday, October 26, 2012, Quorum held its 5^th Annual Chili Cook Off.  This year we added a new twist by also asking for homemade Salsa entries.  We had quite a variety of entries for both chili and salsa including “That’s Too Long” by David Lee;  “Basic Blonde” by Doug Moon; “Chili Con Carnage” by Kathryn Torrez; “The Chili With No Name” by Gayland Leddy; and “Chango Chili” by William Moore and Joseph Dolan.  Competition was close and everyone had a good time eating and mingling with the judges afterward.  A big Quorum “Thank You” to our judges:  Head Chili Judge – Matthew Farrington, Head Salsa Judge – Arthur Calcaterra, Guest Judges – Garold LaRueof Avoca Coffee and Scott Vannorsdel, Architect.
