One Man's Art

Boy, talk about Reuse, Reduce, Recycle! I may have stumbled across the quintessential example of that philosophy, tucked away in Florida’s swampy mid section. You have to see this place to believe it.
Solomon’s Castle is a lifelong labor of love for Howard Solomon. Contained within the shimmering, reused printing plate walls of this curiously clad Camelot are art galleries with his recycled sculptures, living quarters and an adjacent restaurant, the Boat in the Moat. Even a scale replica of the Alamo exists on the property near Howard’s active workshop.

This definitely offers up a quiet, alternative venue from the hectic, Florida theme park experience.
